Grief Education
Grief education consultations and workshops offer the tools and information to help professionals serve their grieving clients with knowledge and compassion.
Grief as a topic is often is left behind in various settings in the medical, educational programs and care provider communities. Yet it is the one thing we will all experience and that most people find relief when they have a place to discuss and learn more about. Hence, there is a need for professionals to gain more in-depth and practical knowledge about the impact of loss and the grieving process in general. Kintsugi Grief Center fulfills that need by providing ongoing grief education for community care members and therapists.

We provide grief education in these formats:

Bi-Monthly Grief Consultation
Grief consultations are held the third Friday of each moonth to assist mental health professionals and others in the care-giving community. The sessions are designed to provide helpful information and answers to questions about how to better assist individuals experiencing loss and grief.

Grief Workshops
Each grief workshop will be tailored to address the specific type of care professional and their unique needs for assisting grieving clients. Grief workshops will include an array of topics, including grief theory, practical tools, grief rituals, and more.
